SAMUEL MEBIUS. NIETODE MR. MEBIUS

She was the mother of all mothers. She was a rock. She was MY ROCK. After a long illness, my mom, "mama Juanita" passed away on Thursday of this week. She was 83 years old. I am glad I was able to spend Mother's Day with her a couple of months ago in El Salvador where she lived all her life. She was the daughter of Frederick Ernest Mebius, a Canadian missionary who became an icon in the Pentecostal movement, bringing the Gospel to thousands at the beginning of the 20th centrury in El Salvador. She was a woman of strong convictions who was loved by many. She raised six children and leaves ten grandchildren, all in the United States and Europe. She finally met her maker. God Bless her Soul.
